  1. Kia ora Dean, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
You have done an excellent job creating this list of 10 food items you would bring with you on a sea voyage with no refrigerator or freezer!
Chips, seeds and popcorn are all excellent food items to pack as they are non-perishable and will therefore last a long time.
I am not sure how well cooked chicken or yoghurt would last without refrigeration for such a long period of time. It might get a little bit stinky!
When looking at all of the ingredients you have packed, what meals do you think you will be able to make?
What is your favourite food out of the foods you have listed?
If I were going on this sea voyage, I would pack peanut butter. I eat peanut butter every morning, and don’t think I could go a day without it! Plus, peanut butter is full of good, healthy fats, has tons of protein, and lasts a while before expiring.

Have you tried the blogging activities on the Summer Learning Journey site?
